FROM THE DEAN:
Happy New Year to one and all!
With any luck the weather will continue to be mild so that everyone can attend our January 18th meeting at Rainbow Mennonite Church. The recent national marketing survey found that the opportunity to meet and connect with other musicians is one of the main reasons members attend monthly meetings. Come out and get to know fellow members of the chapter. We all have the desire to see the organ and church music world thrive. In this time of budget cutbacks and dwindling church attendance we need to come together and
support each other's endeavors.
In other news, our long time caterer, Bernie Meissen, just
informed us that he has retired. We wish him well in this new chapter
of his life. The board will be looking at options for replacing him, but
over the next few months, the meals might be a little different than
what we have had previously. Rest assured that we will continue to
have dinner meetings every month and the cost will be as close to $10
per person as possible. Please bear with us as we make this change.
