FROM THE DEAN:
Greetings from the Dean,
We are off and running... the first executive board meeting has taken place. The first concert event of the season is tomorrow. The first visit of Pope Francis' to the USA is about to happen. There is always a first time for everything. So I will ask, what is the first impression that a visitor gets from the GKCAGO? Mine was a smile and pleasant conversation at a monthly meeting. We have a wonderful group of people in this chapter. I ask that we continue to be welcoming and accepting of all lovers of organ and choral music.
Next month's meeting promises to be a thrilling event with the William-Jewell choir and our own Schola at Visitation Catholic Church. Please note that the date is Oct. 12.
